SA Horticulture Netting Infrastructure Grants

Who: Primary production businesses, business owners, share farmers, lease holders and businesses that operate as a sole trader, partnership, trust or private company in horticulture. Check PIRSA website (button below) for further edibility requirements.

Purpose: To help primary producers in the Riverland and Adelaide Hills/Greater Adelaide region fund the purchase and installation of new netting, or the replacement of any damaged netting over land used to grow horticulture crops

Amount: Up to 50% of eligible costs associated with horticulture netting, up to a maximum of $300,000.

SA Livestock Underpass Grant Scheme

Who: Eligible primary producers who have earned more than 50% of gross income for the pat 2 years from primary production businesses (under normal circumstances) and are registered as a primary production business with the ATO or an entity operating a licensed abattoir or livestock saleyard.

Purpose: Funding will cover the costs associated with an independent authorised contractor approved by the relevant public road authority for services and materials needed for the construction and installation of new livestock underpass projects. Written quotes or cost estimates from an independent third-party suppliers will need to be included with your application.

Amount: Up to 50% of eligible costs associated with construction and installation of an underpass, up to a maximum of $100,000.

Closes: 5pm June 30, 2023, or when funding has been exhausted.
